Use of collected personal data
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the website, we recommend avoiding uploads that contain GPS location data in their EXIF metadata. Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from these images.
Cookies
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is automatically deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set a number of cookies to save your login information and your screen display preferences. A login cookie lasts for two days, and a screen options cookie lasts for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after one day.
Audience measurement
We measure traffic to this site with Umami. The tool places no cookie on your device and does not keep your IP address.
What is recorded: the page you visit, the page that led you to it, your device and browser type, your screen size, and the country the visit comes from. Three actions are also counted: clicks through to the acracy platform and submissions of the contact form.
This data is aggregated. It cannot identify you and cannot follow you from one site to another, so this measurement does not require your consent. It is kept for six months, then deleted.
If you would rather not appear in it, turn on your browser’s Do Not Track setting: visits that send this signal are not counted. For any question about this processing, write to us at romain@acracy.co.
